Dan,
One of my favorite indicators of a manipulated stock is when the
last half hour volume is dramatically higher than the rest of
the day, and the price is high-closed. Sabratek has been a classic example of that. In fact, in its most recent run, there were
25 and 50K buy orders placed on the bid moments before the close.
That was just before a nasty little earnings report took it
from $25 to $10ish.
Take a look at the last 3 days of trading on GUMM, and notice the
last half hour volume and price swing. Any thoughts?
