Dion Entertainment Corp. has clarified that the news reports yesterday, Aug. 4,
1999, regarding the company were incomplete. The reports quoted Mr. Dion as
saying that no news release was imminent. To clarify, Mr. Dion indicates that,
although discussions with several United States television companies are not to a
stage where a news release regarding them would be appropriate, the company is
and has been dealing with other parties with respect to its proposed televised
bingo, which dealings could result in a significant announcement at any time. The
company's plans for the televised bingo are not limited to the U.S. market or to
merely a television distribution deal.
The company continues to pursue its goal to be the largest and most diversified
bingo entertainment company in the world.
