With the advent of the "free" PC, I'm not convinced that there's as tight a tie in with overall recovery in Japan and the Far East today as there was then.
Nonetheless, all indications are that a recovery is taking a fairly strong hold in that region.
It's a prerequisite to new capacity being required. CYMI should be among the first to move most once we get a spate of new fabs being built.
It takes anywhere from about 5 months to a year to build a state of the art scanner. This means that CYMI will ship lasers to the lithography equipment makers well in advance of their shipments to chip makers.
