Poppe Tyson (Nasdaq:MMPT - news) said on Thursday it has been selected to plan and manage a new marketing program for ft.com, the online Web site of the Financial Times of London. ''We are very pleased with this latest win,'' GM O'Connell, Modem Media chief executive, said in a statment. ''ft.com is one of the most respected sources of global business information in the world. We are honored that they have chosen us and look forward to a long and successful relationship.'' The agreement calls for Modem Media to develop a marketing strategy, research and e-commerce concept for the site, ft.com, which has 2 million registered users.
