Maurice, By the way, is that 65 cents per minute retail price being bandied around a 'for real' figure or has somebody got their facts wrong? Maybe that is for fixed phone service somewhere? I do not have a straight answer. However, I do feel G* phone will not be held by average dudes in China. It will be all government employees, semi-gov. employees, military personnel type who do not even think $0.7 is any meaningful to them. China Telecom will eat the Gs cost and charge internal agency rate to these people. At least on G mobil phones. Fixed phones will offer remote villages some relief of no phone services at all.
