We don't have that problem

Very good idea about the wireless and the aerial and all. Sell people the idea, not the wires they so desperately need. A second tier market could exist selling people wireless control modules, a D-cell and three or four LEDS set to go off randomly (random is the key to chaos you know), specialized Y2K compliant control modules for every household device, everything still centers on the box though.
Enough Sci-Fi novels predict wireheads that we have to prepare now, wirefactories will have to be built.
