I don't think a pricing premium is going to happen for AMD any time soon. AMD would be delighted with pricing parity for an equally performing product - and doesn't expect (and won't receive) even that. On the other hand, if intel can't discriminate between a sunk cost and a future cost, and clings to rambus, AMD may be do fine with the present situation.
