Stockhawk: I agree. Thread readers should be careful about jumping aboard the Gilder Tech Report/Loral & Globalstar bandwagon. In a recent (past month) issue of Barron's which had a roundtable discussion on telecommunications (including Marc Gabelli and Jack B. Grubman), Jack Grubman stated that he did not like Globalstar's business model and would NOT invest in it. Jack Grubman, of course, is the highly respected telecommunication analyst with Salomon Smith Barney and is a Wall Street Analyst "All Star" in this sector. This is a paraphrase but is accurate. I suggest trying to obtain and read the article in its entirety. There were several useful insights and stock recommendations.
