In Long Beach, CA... I just signed up for flashcom's (Covad) 384 128 ADSL for 49.95 per month free installation and free modem after 99 dollar rebate. 2 year min contract. for $50 I'll get a second static IP for second computer and can network them together. can't wait to get it install will be in 5-7 days. Cable is still not an option in my area. could not wait for AOL plus any longer. How fast will AOL plus be anyhow? I did see the offer from Direct TV and AOL/Hughes for satellite for 19.95 400kbs download service this seems like a pretty good deal.
