C-Cube just had an aggressive price cut earlier this quarter. Therefore earnings may not be as good as they were supposed to be (i mean in the 51-53 cents/share range). However, C-Cube has dropped from the 40's to the 20's during this period after the price cut announcement was made. This stock is vastly discounted already.

Buy low sell High. Not the other way around.

btw, David, what happened to your E4 ?

DVD has two interesting variations:
--------------------
DVD-ROM (write-once)
DVD-RAM (rewritable)

could C-Cube's E4 be a significant revenue generator when these devices are out later this year? makes perfect sense for someone to drive down the stock price before the E4 announcement/shipment and accumulate at low prices, doens't it? (reminds me of Intel a few months before MMX came out)

The best kept secret in the industry is that DVDs were originally designed to be rewritable.

"I hope C-Cube stays in business."(TM)

interesting article on DVD, DVD-Rom, and DVD-Ram...
