Dave, what a pleasant revelation: Optical CDMA. Every time I've mentioned the possibility of this approach, both here in SI (silence) and elsewhere (scorn), I've been met with either silence or scorn.

Thanks for that find. I'll look at it more intently now... now that I have someone else with whom to share the derision.
