I couldn't agree more with you, and I have also posted to that effect several times in the past. This does not mean that I think we should totally rule out GIFT - I would not be following this sleepy thread if that was the case.

However, if the patent is upheld then the sky would be the long-term limit for GIFT because IMHO I think we have only seen the tip of the iceberg when discussing its indefinite revenue-generating potential.

But if that is the case, then jumping in immediately after the ruling is made will still produce incredible returns with no down risk at that point in time. So why invest today in a stock that only has a 50/50 chance (at best) as you correctly point out?

As others have stated, Mel is to be admired for his "persistence" in "cheerleading" and holding on to GIFT on its long way down. But IMHO if you already hold GIFT, I can only say good luck to you because you will in fact need it. Here's a link to one of my previous posts if you didn't see it ===>
