Well, I just added to my very long INPR position, so that my avg is now ~4. At 3.75, INPR is quite a deal, and I really think that we should see some movement in this dog. INPR has the right technology. It seems that the missing piece is credibility, thus I am hopeful that Mgmnt will conclude that they need a partnership with a big name if they are to succeed. They need both the deep pockets and the perception of long-term stability. For potential suitors, INPR can be had for not a lot of money. There are strong three possibilities that I see:

IBM has been criticized for lacking a good C++ development suite. Certainly C++B and Delphi operating across all IBM platforms +NT +Linux would be compelling. IBM has a good Java suite however.

Sun could use a strong presence in the tools market. Having good cross-platform suite would be compelling. Certainly INPR has Java tools that would be useful to SUN.

ORACLE obviously would benefit from having control of the tools that they are already licensing.
