And saying something is repetitive and redundant is redundant. Joan, how about this? I don't think so. Redundancy is unnecessary repetition. Some repetition is functional and therefore not redundant. Also, redundant has other connotations. So I think one can say something is repetitive and redundant without necessarily being redundant. How about it, madam grammar thread hostess?
