I think you're discounting the probability of stock market hysteria over MP3. That's the reason that $50 by X'mas could happen. Especially if the major record companies endorse it and provide coding technology. Isn't flash memory used to avoid boot ups on the Windows CE devices? I don't know about you all, but I'm getting seriously tired of waiting for the boot ups. This is getting kind of primitive.
