Uncle Frank,

I have mentioned this before that my current core holdings are QCOM and PCS, which I will sell at least after another 200-300% appreciation. I will definitely add MSFT and CSCO, two of my all time favorites to my core holdings when I feel that their respective share prices have reached a level I will hold for at least a 30% appreciation. Sure Q and PCS will also drop more, but I won't pay tax gains on those issues by selling.

I also have DELL Jan. 40 and AOL Jan. 75 puts that I sold either 8 months ago or yesterday. So that's all my portfolio. Sold close the EBAY Aug. puts this afternoon, still hold the Oct. puts that I bought three weeks ago. EBAY is a decent company and has a good business model, but its market cap goes far above its fundamentals. The ony nut issues that I will consider buying are YHOO! and AOL. I have no problem with AOL put to me at 75. And if it shows any decent strength, I will sell 2001 leap puts at 90-100. YHOO! is great but it's share price is too high. The 120 support was easily penetrated yesterday and I feel that I can pick the issue up between 85-95 in one month. I will definitely go for 2k shares at that price for the long haul. This will be a 100 billion issue within 5-10 years.

I am a trader, but not really a daytrader. I always keep stocks overnight and have core holdings in my portfolio. Short term trading is fun and I guess that as long as I don't long nuts these days, I will be fine!

good luck,
larry
