Unfortunately, I'm *too* fresh on the subject to illuminate :))

I read through as much as I could find,,, Com21 settled. But no terms of the settlement/licensing_agreement were reported that I could find, so I still haven't a grasp on what kind of income licensing or a buyout might bring if the patents are essential/defensible.

We've all seen transactions in which a company signs "licensing deals" with branded companies FREE in order to build the appearance of a customer list upon which sales may be made. (I think EDTA, e-Data was a penultimate example of this. :))

I'm NOT saying that I know --- or even suspect --- that this is the case here --- but without any scope of the "deal," can't base any guess on anything. Does anyone know if HYBR is paid by Com21?

Good luck on your short term memory, too!

.k
