This is to GST..SI not working correctly:

"Sorry -- I misread your post.

GST,

No problem. I just looked to see what you were referring to and saw it was about the SI format change.

By the way, the sell off today did not surprise me. I was lucky since all my longs went up except NITE. I plan to start taking some money off the table next week. I will not short due my experience last year. It is not worth it to me.

I will sell AMZN for a point pop if I get it or take a loss in the event it continues down Monday.

Glenn"

RE: EBAY,
you know it's amazing the significance of a technical failure with a pure play internet business. Bamm, your completely
shut down. A whole day's revenue gone. Plus concessions to keep your customers. Can you imagine losing a whole day's
sales from your jewelry business? It wouldn't be pleasant. If you had to manually write tickets, or sell by candlelight
you'd do it, right? I mean like Uncle Burcie Leadbetter said to Junior, "get the damn sto open" (Old Jerry Clower Story)

I was short Amazon all of last year and this was one of my main points. The entire US store is closed if the system fails. That is different than a snaow storm in the Northeast closing a few Barnes and Noble stores, etc. It could be a catastrophe (sp)

By the way, we have sold by flashlight. Not good for security, however<G>
