This is also my impression. Prior to April, he seemingly beat cmgi's drum on a weekly basis. Since, he's been largely quiet.

Perhaps it's just a valuation issue, but I wonder if it might be coming apparent that cmgi's stable of companies are not all of the caliber of lcos or gcty. I am not aware of any subsector leaders (perhaps too early to tell). Instead they seem to be playing second fiddle to another in their markets. A good example is enga, which appears to be one of cmgi's stronger companies. enga has good reach and good products with some unique features, but is certainly second to dclk in its subsector.

Also, perhaps cmgi now pales somewhat in comparison to softbank's very strong stable of companies: yhoo, egrp, eeln, (and even) insw come immediately to mind.
