MSFT is the king of gorilla stocks. Some funda manager will even argue that MSFT has become a mutual fund issue.

I was very negative about AOL at 170s. However, issue has a strong customer base and its management team sure knows how to face adversaries. And I don't believe that MSFT will truly provide free internet access. Even if they do so, AOL should be able to find another way to compete head to head. I don't think that all those companies are that stupid to throw 100 million into advertising on AOL site. And even Softie himself is regarding AOL as his public enemy #1. AOL at 90s is fully valued, or even a bit more overvalued if the rate keeps hiking up. However, at 60-70s, I believe that it's a good long term hold. I personally prefer YHOO!, but the issue is at least 25-40% overvalued based on the closing price today. I will be a buyer at 85-90.

good luck,
larry
