I think a large acquisition would be difficult without a higher stock price. This is an ugly problem small companies with low stock price are facing.
Stock is like currency, and when the stock price is low it takes a lot more stock to buy another company, and the sellers may not want the stock, either. Without the acquisitions, CHGO's market capitalization remains tiny, and CHGO fails to attract much attention from institutional investors. Without that attention, the stock remains stuck at low levels.
This stock will eventually fly, but will require a lot of patience. I am a buy and hold investor, and willing to wait, as long as CHGO continues to pursue a growth plan, and show steadily improving cash flow, earnings, and especially top line growth. |
