Frank-- BMW is converting their 7 series as we speak. They are looking at the 2001 model year I believe. This is 45,000 vehicles per year and Varta is producing the battery. All of the above was announced at the Ft. Lauderdale battery conference in Feb/March of this year.

Mike Latas has posted a number of items on GM introductions which seem to be a little farther out and a little muddled.
