I agree .. You can't put all analysts in the same boat.
Some are much better than others. I do feel, however, that too many recommendations are
issued (as a result of pressure placed on analysts) in order to increase trading activity and
subsequent commissions (and trading for most folks is not as profitable as a simple buy
and hold strategy). Over the 5 years I would not hazard a guess as to how many changes
in position Merrill Lynch has had on Intel.
