Yes, we were one of the last classes to have strictly enforced visiting hours. Did they still have the live switchboard operator in the entrance to Randall in your day to check on the comings and goings? With the dean's apartment right by the downstairs back door so any attempt to sneak boys in that way late at night was in danger of being overheard? The door made an amazing squeak of metal on metal when opened, which all of us believed was quite intentional. One of my colleagues even went to far as to WD-40 the door, but to no avail.
