As for Intel's prospects, just look at what they have coming to market. Granted, many of these products have been delayed, but many are going to be In SYSTEMS within a few months: Camino/Rambus Profusion 8-way Chip Sets 600/6677 MHz Coppermines 600/667 MHz Cascades/Xeons - with ON CHIP 2 MegaBytes L2 cache ! 810e chip Sets Carmel Chip Sets - with dual Rambus Channels And these are just the ones that are "near" release. The year 2000 will have a host of other products that may propel Intel into a totally different orbit from AMD. Paul
