The Year 2000 Slips

An industry standards group announced this week that the year 2000
was slipping to 2048, due to a number of technical difficulties.
"Year 2000 software fixes are not ready yet," a spokesperson said.
"And 2048 (100000000000 in binary) is easier to manipulate
electronically."
