The fact that there are so many DSL ISP's competing makes their service more reliable. pass, can you clarify this for me? In my area (Salt Lake City) there is only one company to call for DSL and that is US West. Yes there are ISP's that offer DSL but none of them offer the line. I have found (least in my area) ISP's to be very reliable for years. They have migrated from V.34 to V.90 to ISDN and now DSL and the only problems they seem to have are associated with last mile technology companies or backbone providers. Only problem in my area is that I have only two choices for that last mile, US Worst and TCI.
