<I am a cheeky POLLY.>

Yeah. A "cheeky polly" with alternate heat source and extra food.

You already told us a few months ago you have an alternate heat source. You told us you have extra food. BUT ... You told us you don't have it because of Y2K. You told us it's always smart to have "extra" - just in case - not because of Y2K. Sometimes those Canadian winters can be pretty wicked, eh?

Who cares why you have it. Does it really matter why you have what you have??? Point is - you have it.

Why shouldn't others? That's my point. I want people to have something. Anything more than the "72 hrs" spin. After all, you have more than that.

Since you have an alternate heat supply and more than 72-hours worth of food - does that make you a "doomer"? Of course not.

What purpose does it serve to categorize people? All it does is alienate people. Serves no purpose.

You tend to categorize everyone who doesn't believe that Y2K will only be a "bump in the road" as doomers. There's a wide range of opinion in this camp - from one extreme to the other. Including the middle. Wherever that is. Cause, when push comes to shove ... no one knows.
