SUBJECT: YOUR COURT MARTIAL

After careful consideration, I have decided not to convene a courts martial on the charge against you i.e. being AWOL during combat at the PAIR frontier station.

While your absence during PAIR combat is verifiable (and normally cause for court martial) the fact that you left a duty station (PAIR) to successfully discover and promulgate the new, larger, and greater BS opportunity was within a Captain's discretion at stated in article 137 of Admiralty Regulations.

Your display of initiative will mean a "mention in dispatches." Let me also offer my personal congratulation. I have also officially endorsed your initiative by acquiring 2,000 BS at 7 3/8 and with a GTC for an additional 2,000 also at 7 3/8.

On a personal note, let me commend to you: NTBK at 17-18, CPU at 5 7/8, and ETYS 29-30.
