I am sorry to hear you had a heart attack. Primarily diet and stress are the contributing factors to that. Please take care of yourself.

As for the markets, most who are trading today have never seen a real bear market and fewer were around in the 87 crash. I have been trading since 1970s and have seen all types of markets. When the Great Bull Market in stocks is over, I think I'll switch back to commodities again. I actually enjoy trading commodities better anyway.
