Phillip, Apple needs market share more than anything else. Licensing the Powerbook to clones can only increase (dramatically) the Mac OS market share in laptops. It will give us 20 choices instead of 2. I hope everybody by now sees the great advantage of cloning the desktop Mac. The same must be done for laptops. Once the market share is on a solid upward trend, Rhapsody hopefully will do the rest. Apple never thought of itself during the 80s as of being the best software company. To sell more Macs (they thought) they missed on becoming a software powerhouse. Hoping that they can learn...
