Good work Jim! Its alittle hard to hide - don't you think? To hear all the bad stuff, while not fun, is a good reality check. So, I check in every once in awhile. Maybe, just for me, you could say some nice things too on occassion - but only if you mean it! Now that I have your eyeballs - Journeyman has not been sold and it was not the best selling title. Buried in Time, the sequel, was the best selling title on the entertainment side and it was developed by Presto Studios. However, it was not a profitable title for SW. The Head Coach products (NFL Math, etc.) are developed internally and have nearly equalled the unit volume success of Buried in Time and they are the highest gross margin products, by a wide margin, distributed at least in the past 2 years. The Franklin Series also developed internally is the second highest gross margin. As an ed software company the company's losses are the lowest they have been in its history. It makes me cringe to say "losses". I don't like the word and no one else in the company does either. George is rightly concerned about the industry. But, retail is not the only channel. On that note - everybody is in the same boat. The ed channel which has become much bigger for us is solid, however, and doing well. We also think that on-line is a great leveler and we have alot of plans for it, some of which are already implemented. Our reorg has been very distracting and defocusing. With it behind us we're going to focus harder on sales and getting profitable; our number one goal. Obviously, shareholders have taken too much already. But, alot has happened to fix the company in the past several months and alot more is being done right now. We will do more to keep you informed in the future. So long. Carmen |
