Andy B--Their website suggests that VDMA is a variant of CDMA that relies on users leaving their handsets on standby mode. The handsets would be the respective basestations, leading a call back from out of normal cell range to a cell basestation. I have no opinion on the technology, but would observe: The chief technical person appears to have a solid resume, but not one which would suggest he could come across a revolutionary technology. The company's website is slight of specific technical information. They would have a tremendous uphill battle to get their handsets sold in sufficient density to make the idea valuable. The handsets would be more complicated--and therefore more expensive--than QCOM's standard CDMA handsets.

They seem to be a real company with real activity, but that activity has nothing to do with VDMA. And it will be a very long time before we see any revenues from that side of it.
