Whew! - Quite a read but I think I got the complete resolution of NLM's and how Java, CORBA and RAD compilers and 'hybred' compilers work.

To summerize, NetWare (IntranetWare) is evolving to a 'standard' or general purpose OS platform that can either (1) interpret or (2) run compiled NLM's . CORBA, JAVA and even the Orcle code will utilize standard NLM's routines but will be transparent to the programmer.

The other main benefit is that every NLM is upward compatable, even new NLM's that run JAVA, CORBA or Orcle code.

Thank's for the information and thank's to the mystry man taking the time to explain the evolution of NetWare and the NLM.
