Steve...< best protection? > A good job, unemployment was 35% during the depression. Cash, bonds, gold and silver coins. Liquid stuff, no debt. I don't see a collapse, maybe just a bear market...I have a side bet, USPIX, up 22% in past two weeks, number 1 fund since the recent decline began.....scotty
