It was merely a moment of philosophical musing. Forgive me if I have offended you or seemed to take the issue lightly.

As you know, I disagree with you on the issue of God. However, on the issue of suffering, we stand together--as you also know.

I am concerned about--although not yet convinced of--global warming, this rotten summer notwithstanding.
