hey hp,

in your system doctor dialog, right click the rescue disk sensor, then choose properties and select the alarm tab. check to see how often you have it set to trigger alarm. mine is set at 12 hours. (for some reason, this is adequate enough to keep it from ever alarming me. i think i've updated rd's about twice in several months.) you may have it set on minutes. you can also try clicking on default to use their recommended setting.

if this alarm setting isn't the prob, there are other things we can try.
