Sig,
Hi!!

RE: "the philosophy of DELL where they refuse to enter something until it is of the greatest opportunity to the shareholders"
Using math, TA,projections, and comparisons between companies in the same industry to establish a price estimate for Dell has not worked in the past and will probably not work in the future. I believe one can and should handle Dell stock in a manner that does not put a
a limit on the upside potential.

Great research Sig and a wonderful post!! The quote above reminded me of my limitations.. MATH is hated here.. :o) So I have learned to just follow the advice of those that show me the way...The history of DELL has proven...(as you have noted)...to someone that when DELL explodes up they should not be surprised...Their numbers have always proven the valuations...Ignore the math...let my dad do it :o) I know DELL will steal enough market share to justify the price sooner or later..
Servers are a huge opportunity...As much as I hate math I can assure everyone that server facility and the waiting "footprint" of the other are HUGE...HUGE...HUGE...Square feet?? Who cares..Seeing was believing...We saw it my friend and it was a site to behold..I've written before that on each side of Parmer there are 35 or 36 truck ports that are constantly delivering and then sending out orders...Thinking of this magnitude when DELL turns inventory in five or six days...This just boggles my mind..Forget the math..It is stunning to imagine the product being produced...I believe what Scott said last Oct. DELL can produce that number with what they have already built..If not?...Why would DELL have built it?? :o)
Robert Williams told us at the briefing that last quarter DELL had received orders from 250 companies for servers and storage...This quarter they had received orders from 400!! Now unless this quarter they were all small orders... :o) :o) :o)
Did I get those figures correct Patrick? :o)

Best, Kemble
