Cheeky, I checked with one of my clients in the UK, and they said that the new software they tried to implement would print "your usage for January, 2000 was ... rather then "your usage for January 00 was ...".

I think we could have figured out whether our electricity usage was for 1900 or 2000 don't you think.

But I guess they HAD to be Y2K compliant didn't they.

As with any new software implementations or upgrades, there are always going to be problems. I don't think we should blame these on Y2K but on the Y2K advocates who insist that EVERYTHING should be 100% Y2K compliant.
