Fortunately, it never 'ends', just cycles around to new and better beginning. But in the meantime, the bear market to fear is not the quick down and back up of the 1987, but the '73-74 and '81-'82. How many "investors" will be able to withstand markets going down for 18 months? Or like the Japanese bear market for now about, what, 7 loooooooong years.
