FREEHOLD, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 6, 1999--Maxnet, Inc. (OTC BB: MXNT) announced today that by decision of its Board of Directors, Maxnet, Inc.'s name has been changed to MaxPlanet, Corp. MXNT has changed its name to reflect its diversified Internet Development and marketing business.
