Ok, I need help here... I have a couple of lines in my AUTOEXEC.BAT file that I removed, yet everytime I restart the system, they re-appear. I've gone through pretty much everything I know, and I can't find a reason why it would continue to do so. Has anyone run into this before? It's incredibly annoying, since those lines refer to programs no longer present, hence I get "Bad command or file name" everytime I start the damn machine. If I manually edit the file, and save, it looks fine...until the restart. I've already re-installed '98 to clear potential problems, and run regclean...nada. Anything come to mind? Rich
