The fellow marketing manager and I (web developer) took a trip to visit the HHD facilities in Southbury, CT. We spent over an hour with the team discussing many angles of the companies business model in addition to any bumps in the road concerning financing etc... After my visit I doubled my position in the company. One thing that people need to realize is that once this funding is complete and the acquisitions are underway we are talking about instant revenue that will make this company have a strong status once reporting. In addition it will place them into contension for a NASD listing which will open them up for 20+ MM in funding. Both acquired companies are fully profitable and are ALREADY established in an EXISTING market. The model is just trying to incorporate the e side of things by introducing a portal, online shopping features etc, satellite ISP services etc... This company is a large risk, but a risk well worth the payout if the pieces fall in place. These guys are working 16 hour days and are very honest while being frugal with the money they are spending.
There is a lot more to say about BYIT, but the funding is very important. They CAN get the money as of now, but are working on terms that will be more beneficial to the company long term.
