Steve, i disagree with your pee-on-a-tree-somewhere theory. at least in Austria the cops will not stand for it, they'll fine you. the legalization of prostitution has a big advantage inasmuch as the working girls have to go to a medical check-up once a week, which has done much to keep the spread of venereal diseases in check. the authorities have correctly recognized that since it is impossible to eradicate prostitution it is better to regulate it.
