Back Lake/Munn Lake, NWT Joint Venture Project Update Albert W. Applegath, President of Kalahari Resources Inc. reports: Linecutting, geophysics and prospecting started Monday, August 2, at the Back Lake/Munn Lake Project, N.W.T. Both the North and South shore of Munn Lake is being refined for a potential extension of the diamondiferous kimberlite sill discovered under Munn Lake. A drilled intercept, true width of 40' of diamondiferous kimberlite sill, is only 150' off the south shore. A 5,000' land based drill program is expected to start in the next 20 days. This phase 1, $350,000 program, is under the supervision of SouthernEra geologist Howard Bird and Paul Davie (see July 20 Kalahari report for earn in details).
