Zeev,
It is tough to get a handle of the wafer industry. I have found it the least transparent of all the tech industries. We as investors are in the dark more than we should be, and all my attempts (as an outsider) to get some concrete data on this industry have mostly been in vain. I listened to the 2Q CC for WFR, they didn't say they were near full capacity, but then, in my previous post, a Japanese offical says 8" is currently at capacity for the whole industry. Who do you believe? I guess they both could be right on some level, but why, as investors, should industry capacity levels be so elusive? One thing is for sure, business fundamentals are improving, I'd rather read about potential price increases and near full capacity, than the stuff I was reading about last year.
