Ramsey Su: What is most important about this initiative is not so much what this particular card can (or can not) do, but that the Q is moving in this direction. The opportunities along this line are huge IMO and this is a first (baby) step in the right direction. Very pleased to see it and look forward to future more robust cards.

Also shows that it is crucial for PCS Sprint, Airtouch/Vodaphone, Bell Atlantic et al to get going full speed on upgrades in their operating systems to handle data faster and more efficiently. The operating systems are the key bottleneck in the US. Japan and Korea are already moving upward on data capability. Will the US operators wait, wait and then wait some more? If so, what are they waiting for - an effective demand can not be there until they offer the service?

Chaz

PS One of the beauties of this card is that it can be used now and will demonstrate effective demand. That in itself is a major gain. Perhaps will get the operators in the US to stop sitting on their hands.
