Re: Classifying the problems. . . . . . . . . Ice, so far, I see 2 distinct types of personalities operating here. I don't know what to call them but the first type I noticed I'll call the Type I disorder. It is exemplified on the main Iomega thread by the 2 JS's and now a JC poster. Their posts are almost always contain insults, opinions disguised as facts, and impatience with others for not seeing and believing their point of view. These individuals can be very intelligent and may have a well-developed sense of humor, and while they may be irritating as all get out I really don't believe they want to hurt anyone. They make their posts, not out of some altruistic desire to inform, but out of a need for attention. . . . . . . . The second type of disorder, Type II, is much more serious and harmful and, thankfully, much more rare. They are the type that post pictures like the one posted yesterday. They may also hack into places and damage data. These people have a serious problem. We can't do anything about them. All we can do is try to protect ourselves from them by urging the webmaster to use whatever security measures there are available, and vigilance on our part such as you exhibited yesterday. . . . . . .
