It was tough to track down the latest company press release as they did not use the popular wires for their dissemination, but after some digging, here is the summary: NEWS RELEASE AUGUST 5, 1999 AGC : ASE OFFICIAL LAUNCH OF VIETNAM'S FIRST ON-LINE LOTTERY - Canadian entrepreneurs become major players in international on-line business - CALGARY (Thursday, August 5, 1999) - Applied Gaming Solutions of Canada Inc. (AGS) announced today that the official opening of the first on-line lottery in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam will take place in Hanoi on Monday, August 9, 1999. The Vietnamese lottery was developed under contract to the Government of Vietnam by AGS. The Calgary company will receive a percentage of the lottery revenues over the next seven years that is expected to contribute approximately $40 million in revenues to AGS..."
