MSIM is expected this week. There are a few cautionary notes however. First and foremost is whether the broad market will hold up this week from all the interest rate jitters. If we do have a pull back, this stock has virtually no prospects for any opening premium. Second, Hambrecht and Quist have a very shakey history lately for opening premiums on IPOs. They have a huge penetration potential in this sector but the seas have to be calm and right now they look very choppy. If you can look past this short term phase, this is a fabulous company in a sector that could easily give you geometric returns in the longer term view.
